Shri.Dharmraj Kadadi
Shri Shivayogi Siddheshwar is considered as an incarnation of Lord
Shiva, whose temple is located amidst a lake. The temple is highly
revered by the devotees as it is the place, where Shri Siddheshwar
attained Sanjeevan Samadhi. Every year, during Makar-Sankranti a
big fair is organized famously known as ‘Gadda Yatra’. The temple
is administered by Shri Siddheshwar Devasthan Panch Committee.
This is a public charitable trust established in 1885. Many
social, educational and medical services are provided by the
trust through various organizations.

Dear Students,
I take immense pleasure in introducing you all to Shri Siddheshwar
Devasthan’s, Shree Siddheshwar Women’s College of Engineering Solapur.
I am happy to state that our college is affiliated to Dr. Babasaheb
Ambedkar Technical University, Lonere, approved by AICTE, New Delhi
and recognised by Govt. of Maharashtra. Our pursuit in teaching and
learning process is to educate the young minds with the fundamental
concepts of engineering & technology
and incorporating industrial traits into the functionality of our
academic system.We aim to provide an overall development that
nurtures them towards becoming strong and focused human beings.
Besides educational skills the Institution is intended to impart
personality development and soft skills to every student.
The main focus of the Institution is to empower students with sound knowledge and training to enhance their wisdom, both in engineering academics and at highly competitive global industrial level for better placement opportunities.

The editorial board is glad to release this issue of “Siddhi Newsletter”, This newsletter will serve to reinforce and allow increased awareness, improved interaction and integration among all of us. “Siddhi Newsletter” will be a medium to provide proper acknowledgement and respect to all those who work behind the scenes, overtime round the clock planning things and acquiring results.
