Candidates from Maharashtra and outside Maharashtra who meet the educational qualifications are eligible for Institute Level Quota seats.

Eligibility Criteria for Maharashtra State Candidates
  • The aspirant should be an Indian National.
  • Should have passed HSC or equivalent with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Minimum 45% marks (40% for Backward Class/Persons with Disability from Maharashtra) in the above subjects together.
  • Must have appeared for all subjects in CET with a non-zero score in CET conducted by the Competent Authority.
  • OR passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with at least 45% marks (40% for reserved categories from Maharashtra).
  • Obtained score in MHT CET 2026–27 or JEE(Main) Paper I.
  • OR passed three years D.Voc. in the same/allied sector.
Eligibility Criteria for Jammu & Kashmir Migrant / All India Candidates
  • Indian National with HSC or equivalent, Physics & Mathematics compulsory, plus one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Minimum 45% marks (40% for Backward Class/Persons with Disability from Maharashtra).
  • Appeared for CET with a non-zero score OR passed Diploma in Engineering & Technology with required marks.
Eligibility Criteria for NRI / OCI / PIO / CIWGC / FN Candidates
  • Passed HSC or equivalent with Physics & Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subjects.
  • Obtained at least 45% marks in the above subjects taken together.

Admissions in Institutional Quota & Vacant Seats After CAP
  1. Admissions shall be made transparently after CAP Rounds as per Inter-Se-Merit of candidates verified by the Competent Authority and the Institution.
  2. Institution shall publish an information brochure well before admissions and display it on the official website.
  3. Applications will be accepted until the allotment date of the final CAP Round.
  4. Preference will be given to Maharashtra State Candidature Candidates over All India Candidature Candidates.
  5. Vacant CAP seats may be filled with NRI, Foreign Students, OCI, PIO, or CIWGC candidates if approved by the authority.

All admissions and cancellations must be updated immediately through the online system as per government rules.

1. Eligibility Criteria
(1)Maharashtra State Candidature Candidate. -

(i) The Candidate should be an Indian National; (ii) Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and The Candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2026;

or (ii) Passed minimum 3 years Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) ;

or (ii) Passed three years D. Voc. Stream in the same or allied sector;

(2) All India Candidature Candidates, Jammu and Kashmir Migrant Candidature Candidates. –

(i)The Candidate should be an Indian National; Passed HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical Vocational subject or Computer Science or Information Technology or Informatics Practices or Agriculture or Engineering Graphics or Business Studies or Electronics or Entrepreneurship and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories, Economically Weaker Section and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together and should obtain non zero positive score in JEE Main (B.E/B.Tech) or the candidate should have appeared in all the subjects in MHT-CET 2026 and should obtain non zero score in MHT-CET 2026. However, preference shall be given to the candidate obtaining non zero positive score in JEE Main(B.E/B.Tech) over the candidates who obtained non zero score in MHT-CET 2026;

(ii) Passed Diploma in Engineering and Technology and obtained at least 45% marks (at least 40% marks, in case of Backward class categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only);

(3) NRI / OCI / PIO, Children of Indian workers in the Gulf countries, Foreign National. –

The candidate should have passed the HSC or its equivalent examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Technical r Vocational subjects, and obtained at least 45 % marks in the above subjects taken together;

In addition to educational qualification as specified, candidates from Maharashtra State as well as outside Maharashtra State are required to appear & qualify in Joint Entrance Examination 2026 (JEE-2026) conducted by C.B.S.E., New Delhi for the Academic Year 2026-27 to be eligible for admission.

Candidates from Maharashtra State as well as from outside Maharashtra State having educational qualification as specified, are eligible for Institute Level Quota seats.
