President ,Shri Siddheshwar Devasthan Solapur
Chairman, Board of Governors,
Shri Siddheshwar Womens's College of Engineering ,Solapur
Karmyogi M.B. alias Appasaheb Kadadi was the former president of Shree Siddheshwar Devastan
and a truly visionary educationist. He has become the pioneer of educational institutions run
by Shree. Siddheshwar Devsthan. Now it has become one of the educational hubs in Maharashtra.
Appasaheb used to say Education for women is important because it makes them empowered and
independent and helps them to build self-confidence. It helps them dream and aim for a better
future. It boosts their strength and gives them the spark to work harder for themselves and
achieve their dreams. To fulfill the vision, Appasaheb started a separate school for girls in
Solapur. This school was the first step taken for the empowerment of girls. Adopting this legacy
of Appasaheb, his son late Shri. Meghraj Kadadi who became president of devstan after Appasaheb,
along with all other trustees, further established the Polytechnic College for girls.
We all are the followers of Karmyogi Appasaheb Kadadi. Taking the legacy of his vision,
Shree Siddheshwar
Devasthan established an Engineering College for women empowerment. We know that Engineering
Education is
found to be the greatest tool to transform the status of every individual in the society.
Our Engineering College strive to provide the best form of education and training to the students
with dedicated faculty members and industry supported curriculum. Besides teaching curriculum, every
student is motivated to take part in co-curricular activities such as participation in various
technical events. The in-house training is also provided to nurture their professional and
interpersonal skills. With this belief, all of you have taken admission in our college and
become family members of Shri. Siddheshwar Educational Hubs.
It's immense pleasure for me to talk with you from this desk by saying a word that you
should all remember, "Honesty is the first chapter in the book of wisdom" and we should
inculcate
honesty and integrity in all what we do.
I earnestly hope and trust that, our esteemed academicians and budding women technocrats
will work with sincerity, honesty and dedication and thereby contribute to make this world a better
place to live in.
