General Science & Engineering department was established in the year 2019.The department was started with 28 students.Now, the strength of First year student is 300 and more.General Science has real-life applications in daily activities like driving a car or cooking food. General Science helps students to develop scientific attitudes and critical thinking skills which will be useful in their future careers.

General Science & Engineering department was established in the year 2019.The department was started with 28 students.Now, the strength of First year student is 300 and more.General Science has real-life applications in daily activities like driving a car or cooking food. General Science helps students to develop scientific attitudes and critical thinking skills which will be useful in their future careers.

The department has a dedicated 48 Mbps internet leased line for connecting all departments and their laboratories to share information at the fingertip.

The department consists of various laboratories like physics lab, Chemistry lab, Basic civil engineering lab, basic electrical engineering lab, workshops, drawing hall etcEngineering science is an interdisciplinary field bridging the gap between scientific theory and engineering applications. It emphasizes the integration of mathematical, scientific, engineering and arts principles..

Graduates are generally expected to work in the research and development of ideas, products, and processes by applying engineering principles to the solution of practical problems in the General Science & Engineering field.

Apply the knowledge of mathematics, science, engineering fundamentals, and an engineering specialization to the solution of complex engineering problems.

Identify, formulate, review research literature, and analyze complex engineering problems reaching substantiated conclusions using first principles of mathematics, natural sciences, and engineering sciences.

Design solutions for complex engineering problems and design system components or processes that meet the specified needs with appropriate consideration for the public health and safety, and the cultural, societal, and environmental considerations.

Use research-based knowledge and research methods including design of experiments, analysis and interpretation of data, and synthesis of the information to provide valid conclusions.

Create, select, and apply appropriate techniques, resources, and modern engineering and IT tools including prediction and modeling to complex engineering activities with an understanding of the limitations.
